A Break Full of Storms, Setbacks and Stubborn Determination
This run‑up to Pembrey has been one of the most unpredictable yet for Aaron and Team Hardiman. What should’ve been a productive stretch of testing quickly turned into a mix of storms, delays, and last‑minute changes. Still, if there’s one thing this team never lacks, it’s grit. They always find a way to push forward.

Testing Plans That Looked Perfect on Paper
With such a long gap between rounds, Aaron planned to make the most of it. Test days were booked, and the bike was ready for setup changes. The softer‑compound SC1 rear tyre was chosen for the next step in performance, and the team were eager to get meaningful laps in before returning to Wales.
When the Weather Decides to Rewrite the Plan
The trip to Pembrey greeted the team with a full coastal battering. Gale‑force winds, relentless rain, and conditions that instantly ruled out any dry‑tyre testing. Wet wheels went straight on, and the team set up base in weather that would make anyone question their sanity. But Aaron cracked on, because that’s exactly who he is.
Two Laps, One Noise, and a Sudden Stop
Barely into the sighting laps, Aaron heard a harsh mechanical noise from the engine. With memories of Cadwell’s February disaster still fresh, he shut the bike off immediately. The day ended there and then. The bike was brought straight back to us at Roadrunner, and as always, we took it in without hesitation. That’s what partnership means.

Missing Castle Combe and Keeping Spirits High
Missing the Castle Combe test was a real blow, especially with the chance to work on riding technique. But racing rarely gives you the perfect run‑up. The race engine is now out for deeper investigation, and the stock motor is back in with fresh velocity stacks. Not ideal, but Team Hardiman don’t fold. They adapt and keep moving.
Why Pembrey Still Feels Like the Right Place to Reset
Pembrey is fast, tight, and familiar territory for Aaron. The circuit rewards confidence and commitment, and despite the chaos leading into this round, he’s heading in with the right mindset. The SC1 is ready when conditions allow, and the team are determined to make this weekend count. Sometimes a tough build‑up fuels an even stronger performance.
