As Aaron heads into the Anglesey Coastal round, we at Roadrunner Motorcycles are proud to continue supporting his racing journey. After a strong performance at Cadwell Park, our workshop has focused on ensuring his bike is fully prepared for a brand‑new circuit. Anglesey offers a fast, flowing layout, and we want Aaron to arrive with complete confidence in his machine.
Why is professional race‑bike maintenance so important between rounds?
With limited time between events, our priority was removing the spare motor and refitting Aaron’s freshly repaired race engine. The final gearbox components arrived while the team were away, allowing us to complete the repair efficiently. A dependable engine is essential for consistency, especially when learning a new track.

What difference does a correctly serviced gearbox make on race day?
Gearbox reliability is crucial on a technical circuit like Anglesey. Smooth, predictable shifts help the rider stay settled through demanding sections such as the Corkscrew and the Banking. Our job is to maintain the bike to a high standard, ensuring every component performs exactly as intended under race conditions.
We also sourced and fitted a new auto‑blipper system. This upgrade supports smoother downshifts, reduces mechanical strain and helps stabilise the bike under heavy braking. Riders often ask, “Is an auto‑blipper worth it for club racing?” For those chasing confidence and consistency, it can make a noticeable difference in corner entry control.

How much do tyres influence lap times?
Fresh Pirelli slicks have been fitted to ensure Aaron heads into the weekend with maximum grip and stability. Tyres are one of the biggest performance factors on any race bike. With a full test day on Friday, Aaron can fine‑tune pressures, grip feel and setup before qualifying begins on Saturday morning.
Anglesey Coastal itself is a unique challenge.
At just 1.55 miles, it’s shorter than Cadwell Park but packed with character. The elevation changes, coastal winds and tight technical sections demand precision and commitment. With Aaron’s recent strong starts, the short straight may also work in his favour.
Across the weekend, he’ll compete in both Clubman 600 and Newcomer Open classes. A busy schedule means the bike must remain reliable throughout, and that’s exactly why our workshop preparation matters. Every detail — from engine health to bolt torque — contributes to performance when the lights go out.

If you’ve ever wondered, “What does a race bike need to stay competitive?” or “How do workshops support riders between rounds?” — this weekend is a perfect example. It’s not about dramatic changes. It’s about dependable servicing, careful repairs and giving the rider a machine they can trust.
We’re proud to support Aaron as he takes on Anglesey. His dedication, combined with our workshop care, makes a partnership we value greatly.
